CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
I had the JVC HAF-FX1X and I was quite pleased with them, but the cable near the left bud broke and I need a replacement. I don't need anything fancy, it's to listening to music while on the go. On that 11-20 tier, what would you guys recommend? I don't mind buying from gearbest, aliexpress, or...- scanferr

Superlux HD662 cable/left side issue
I checked again and got these values: On the left driver, measure the resistance between the driver + connection and the tip of your connector 33 ohms On the left driver, measure the resistance between the driver - connection and the sleeve (ground) of your connector 33 ohms On the right...- scanferr

Superlux HD662 cable/left side issue
Thanks for your reply! I don't think I have damaged the driver because all the soldering was on the left side (where the 3.5mm is) and I never touched the right side (the lower one, with the issues). I do have a multimeter and just did some checkings. I checked both drivers, between the + and...- scanferr

Superlux HD662 cable/left side issue
I own a pair of these and I had this issue: It's not my pic but the issue was the same. I, therefore, followed a recommendation I found online. I opened the left side, replaced the small 3.5mm cable with another jack, soldered everything correctly but now there's another issue: the left...- scanferr

Superlux HD662 Evo - cable issue
I bought these headphones around a year ago and I absolutely love them. The thing is, yesterday, I noted that near the 3.5mm connector on the headphones, that small cable seems cut. This always seemed a bit flimsy to me but I took the most care with it but it still happened. Can I somehow fix...- scanferr

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
Guys, what do you recommend around 40-50€? I was looking at the Superlux HMC681 (40€) or the HD668B (30€). Are they any good for gaming, music, movies, etc? Is there anything better around this price point?- scanferr

[Review] Superlux HD681 EVO
The only difference between these and the HMC681 is the no microphone? The rest is the same? Sound wise?- scanferr

PCM2706 USB DAC
After a huge break from this, I am back!! So, now I am thinking to use that OSHPark website. The problem is that the schematics provided on the website are in PDF and OSHPark only accepts Eagle files. Is there any way I can have this done easily? I hope you people can still answer to this.- scanferr

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
Well I do hope you're right. I kinda feel bad if I need to ask amazon for another replacement, lol. Funny thing is if I equalise on poweramp they sound good. But if don't think they are supposed to need equalise or an amp. Sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk- scanferr

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
I got my replacement today and...they sound the same. Maybe a bit better, but the bass isn't there. I have some cheap buds from a cheap Nokia phone and they definitely sound better than the JVC ones, lol. Previously I owned some cheap Sony ones and the ones from my Samsung tablet and they...- scanferr

Yeah, I though I was on another thread. My bad. I sent them back and asked for a replacement anyway. Let's see how it goes. I even connected them to my desktop and it was the same disapointment.- scanferr

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
I forgot to write, but with PowerAmp and the knobs like I said I can feel the bass but it's not LOADS like everyone here says. So my best guess is that they are a copy? Is there any way to pinpoint that by the box or something? I got them on Amazon.co.uk sold by Amazon themselves. Is this...- scanferr

JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions
I got the JVC HA-FX101 and I should say I am extremely disapointed. I connect them to my laptop playing Dream Theater through Foobar2000 and there's no bass whatsoever. None, it's not there, it doesn't exist. I connect them to my Galaxy Tab through Google Play Music and the same happens. I try...- scanferr

PCM2706 USB DAC
I will try to do it tomorrow if I have time, if not on friday I will certainly do it. I'm just afraid that the holes and the circuit don't match and that I need to redo everything a thousand times. PCM2706 USB DAC
Thanks! What's the best way to do the two sides? Take the protective sticker of one side only, print one side, then develop.
