Sounds like what I think about the Sennheiser HD 555 :) I liked them, but I felt like if they lacked a little bit of spark, and bass, but they were very good headphones, I don't know if these have that problem. Are the Brainwavz like, really large so you look stupid in the street...- usandthem1973

That is an interesting suggestion, I had never heard of the brand before. Do you own them? What would you think about them in comparison with the ATH M50 and the Ultrasone 780? Thanks a lot :)- usandthem1973

I've already done so, but I really don't think it improves on organization. It just makes It more difficult to folllow a conversation. But Thanks, anyways.- usandthem1973

By portable I just mean that They are not giant, They do not have to be super light or thin, just a reasonable size, like the ath m50. I was considering the v moda but I've seen in sóme reviews that They are not very comfortable.- usandthem1973

I'm not really a basshead. I just want the necessary ammount and tightness. So, your choice would be the sonys? How would They compare to the ath m50? Thanks a lot :-)- usandthem1973

They will be plugged mainly into a Samsung Galaxy S II and a M-Audio FastTrack. I would really rather closed cans, but if there is an open pair that slays anything else, I would consider it, but yeah, closed :-) Oh, and my budget is 150, 180 if it is really necessary.- usandthem1973
