RE: Machinists or Woodworkers in NYC metro area
Hi all, I'd like an enclosure for my SOHA and Alien DAC. That is to say--after reading the posts on here and recognizing my own experiences of using a cardboard box with cut outs as an enclosure for the last 3-4 years, I'd like someone to make me an enclosure. Does anyone know of any...- GarlicKnots

HF-1 mods for cups
Hi, So I spent 2+ years in Mongolia. I came back somewhat recently and was rifling through my stuff and found my HF-1s. Seems like my brother didn't pack them that well and the foam cups are a bit messed up. The pleather headband is also a bit messed up. Drivers, thankfully, still seem to be...- GarlicKnots

Hello guys and gals, I have an Alien Dac (stock) with a soha (pretty stock, mundorf caps at c2/c14) going to hf-1, ksc 75, or e3s. I use the Asio4vall drivers suggested on alf's site for the alien dac. With these drivers I seem to have volume control via window's internal volume...- GarlicKnots

Time for another post about Songbird?
Take a glance at this: http://songbirdnest.com/screencast I downloaded it based on some of the features & a desire to experiment with some non foobar clients. First thing, I run quite a few additional components in foobar, but it takes up about 12mb ram to about 8mb when minimized...- GarlicKnots

Blow Eye Lash Wish ?
Hey guys, I was checking out of Amazon today and it suggested that I take a look at this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=glance&n=5174 The title looked pretty cool so I clicked it. Looks like another of the MBV inspired bands. I did a search around here and it didn't turn anything...- GarlicKnots

FM Wireless Transmittter for Cars
I did a search and the last posts came up from around 2005. I'm curious if anyone has found a FM wireless Transmitter that they use in their cars that doesn't have static. Napster free, kinda
Did a quickie search and it didn't come up so I figure I'll pass the news. Napster is doing something where you get to try each song in their catalog for free 5 times. Full songs, so I think it's better than the snippets we get at Amazon. http://www.napster.com/ Not a bad legal try...- GarlicKnots

Should I delete Gaps?
I recently bought Pablo Casal's cello suites. I did an EAC detect gaps. Some tracks (#6) have 7 seconds of silence at the end. Do you think I ought leave out those gaps, or do you guys normally keep those gaps since that is how the artist may have wanted it? Cool.- GarlicKnots
