Best jogging headphone for under $50
I echo the KSC-35s. The wire is a little long, but the sound makes up for it. I would like to take one of my Pair of 35s and have a shorter wire put on it to make for less cumbersome running. Has anyone ever done this? John- jfalford

Help, About to toss Ipod out the window
Thanks for the suggestions so far. Let's not get into angle and velocity, physics was never my strong suit. Now metaphysics, such as if an Ipod is playing in the woods is it making any sound, now that's more up my alley. Thanks, John- jfalford

ATH-EC7 vs. Koss KSC 35
Has anyone heard both of these? I am a fan of the Koss phones and was wondering if there was enough increase in sound quality to justify the increase in coinage required. Thanks for your thoughts. John- jfalford

Help, I'm tangled up in my Cardas
Just to let everyone know how this situation played out. I sent my tangled mass of Cardas to Drew at Moon Audio and now I have a great short cord for my 650s for portable listening and an equally good extention cord for when I want to listen but don't want to get up off of the couch. Thanks... -

Help, I'm tangled up in my Cardas
MonkeyMan, You are right. Cardas says that they will be able to do it. Their retermination fee is $50 per termination if anyone else is experiencing the same kind of problem that I am. Thanks, John -
Help, I'm tangled up in my Cardas
Thaddy, I have tried to contact Moon Audio but as of yet they have not returned my call. I hope that they can do something to help. MonkeyMan, I saw that cable and would do that as a last resort but I really want to find someone who can transform the cable I already have into the cable(s) that I... -
Help, I'm tangled up in my Cardas
I have a twenty ft. Cardas cable for my Senn 650s. It is difficult using this configuration on the go. Does anyone know a good source for turning this long cable into a shorter one, perhaps 4ft coming out of the headphones and making the rest into an extention cable. Thanks for any advice. <=$500 speaker recommendations???
That may be true for the big ones especially the 3.6s and 20.1s but the MMGs lack low bass and that is where much of your amp power is required. They are 4ohm speakers so a receiver may not give you the best sound, but a good amp >50 wpc should do as long as the room is not too large. BTW I use... -
<=$500 speaker recommendations???
I have the magnapan 2.7 which is a big brother of the MMGs, They have a very clean sound that is free from the box speaker colorization that you are going to find in most of the speakers that you are in your price range. IMO their sound is are closer in quickness and tembre to many high end... -

Speaker Wire Tune Up ?
Here is my question. With the wealth of knowledge out there I just know there is a solution. I have a pair of Symo speaker wire that I got about 11 years ago when I owned some Apogee speakers. I no longer have the Apogees but I still like the Symos. They are showing their age, outer jacket is...- jfalford
