The E17 is a bit over your budget, but it is a lot better than e7 IMO. If possible, get a used E17.

Get the Fiio e10, you will have no regret for its price. 

A used Denon D2000 is very nice, and have good design with woody cups.

If you can add your budget a little bit more to 800, then a used ultrasone signature 9 is the way to good, very very solid bass, good for gaming, but I cannot withstand it strong bass for a few hours, but you may be different. 

For me , money is the biggest concern.. I do really want to get the 009.

Sony's design is getting more attractive, compare to Z1000. 

would go for 3. Audio-gd Ref 5 + Audiophellio for its good price.

Take some headphones cable from ALO or other premium sellers as well.

The sony z1000 is very nice for around $400.

The worst headphone I ever had is a cheap headphone that was given along with the computer I purchased. I do not know the brand.
