I mean it was easily fixed and the cable is great so I can't complain. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Not sure which **** you guys are using but the 16-core silver plated one I bought didn't even fit when I first got it. I put some heat on the connectors with a hair dryer then put them into each IEM then let 'em cool. It's a very tight fit for now and won't come off easily.

Probably beating a dead horse here but: I ordered these on 11.11 from AE, got 'em like 2 weeks later and they just sat on my dining room table for days (another ChiFi IEM, ain't nobody got time for that, right?) all alone. Finally got around to taking them for a spin and I've been using them...

    STAX Amps

Bringing this thread back from the dead to see if someone ever answered this question. Got myself an SRM-300 (100v version of the SRM-310) and was curious how it compares to a 252. (I know, I know... Mother of necroposts. But that's what the search is for, right? To find this stuff...)

    Bass-Heavy Headphones?

If you're dead set on sticking to under $100; out of the ones you mentioned I'd go with the Crossfade LP's... And I'd add Sony's XB500's on there, give those a try.    If you're willing to go a bit over the $100 consider the Shure SRH840 or the Ultrasone HFI-580.

    [Review] V-MODA Crossfade LP

Yeah, V-MODA says a 24-hour break-in is sufficient but that's clearly not the case.    Anyone looking to get these headphones has to keep in mind they're really made for electronic, pop, hip-hop and similar genres, which is where they shine.

Review by 'VoodooBear' on item 'V-MODA Crossfade LP Over-ear Headphone'

A fashion accessory with substance   For those of you who are reading this and thinking "What the hell is V-MODA? A clothing store?", the answer is no. But it might surprise you that 'fashion' has an important role in what they do. The philosophy behind the V-MODA brand is to provide...

    Headphones with sound like beats.

Basically this... Crossfade LP's are "bassy" cans that look good as well. The best part is that you can get 'em new for a little over $100. They'd be my recommendation for anyone that's looking for a good-looking bass-leaning set of headphones or just a good looking set of headphones that sound...
