5.1 Headphone experience *Foobar configuration for all stereo music files*
This is rather glorious. Hearing a huge difference with Carpenter Brut's Disco Zombi Italia. Thanks for this guide! -EDIT: My experience with this after 1 day is that bass loses its definition and sounds a lot more muddy. I rather have a bit less sound-stage but keep my thick and accurate bass.- BullHorn

ModMic (4.0) and external USB audio interface - how to get it to work?
I recorded a review with sound samples. Antlion is a small-ish company, hopefully they see my video and address this... Maybe by providing some adapters in the package. Pardon my English, it's not my native tongue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sfePif9IaM- BullHorn

ModMic (4.0) and external USB audio interface - how to get it to work?
I just got the ModMic 4.0 to allow me the freedom of not having to use a stand with my AT2035 all the time. I was willing to give up on some of the quality but I did not expect this. When I first connected it to the front audio ports of my PC case, it didn't work at all. After reading...- BullHorn

Comfort mod: HD650 headband padding on the Pro 900
I just got the HD650 band and did the mod. So far, I'm not as impressed as I hoped I would be. The pressure is still quite strong although now it's not directly on top of my skull... -EDIT: I was expecting unreal comfort. I didn't get that but on the bright side I've been wearing the...- BullHorn

Comfort mod: HD650 headband padding on the Pro 900
Hate to bump an old thread but is there any other part I could find/buy other than that Sennheiser part? Nobody ships this part to my country... -EDIT: Nevermind me guys, I found some British site that sells it for 8 quid and ships for another 6. Quite expensive but totally worth it.- BullHorn

This could work. Unfortunately I can't acquire the recommended Sennheiser spare part in my country. Any suggestions for an alternative?- BullHorn

Help! I own a large number of headphones and my favorite sounding are the Pro 900. Unfortunately, I can't bear to wear them for more than a few minutes because the pad on top of my head digs into my brain. :( wat do?- BullHorn

In-Ears for travel under $150
I just bought the Sunrise Sw-Xcape Impressive Edition, I couldn't find a decent eBay seller for the RE262. I don't really care anymore as long as they are not as muddy as my fake Sennheiser CX300-II.- BullHorn

In-Ears for travel under $150
Nowhere to try. Out of the models I mentioned above, which would be the best as a monitor? I have other bass-head headphones/earphones, maybe I should get something more natural now.- BullHorn

The Sub-$200 Portable Amps Shootout – 13 (+11) amps compared
This thread makes the O2 very attractive to me. :p What I really wonder is how would Fred_fred_2004's 3-channel rechargeble cMoy would fair in the sub-$200 shootout. He sells the rechargeable one for a $100-110 which is the same as the OP reviewed in the sub-$100 except it's rechargeable...- BullHorn

Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread
After breaking in the Pro 900 for a bit over a week, listening to my cheaper AKG K240 or Audio Technica D40fs is not so fun anymore, they don't deliver... The clamping is a bit tight and the bass and treble sometimes get me a bit tired but I love it.- BullHorn

In-Ears for travel under $150
Bump. And when I say 'for travel' I don't mean that I'll be hanging out in places where the ambient noise is 95db all the time. I just said 'for travel' because I'm coming from full-size headphones. I guess for In-Ear monitors, I shouldn't even bother mentioning I'll be using it for travel...- BullHorn

High quality 'budget' 1/4" DIY plugs
Aha, Neutrik was the plug I used on one of my Klotz cables 5 years ago and it's still running great. I just ordered 2 more plugs for $4 each. Thanks everybody. :) -
High quality 'budget' 1/4" DIY plugs
Can you guys recommend some? I need to re-solder a couple of cables and I want to upgrade their 1/4" plugs and there's just too many to choose from. I mean something like this: The cable costed around $60, could I get 2 new plugs for say, under $25?- BullHorn

Wow, some of these setups really put my setup to shame. I'm at work now, I'll take a picture when I get home. It's just my PC, connected to a Lexicon Alpha USB sound interface for recording guitar, then into a PA2V2 or Fred_fred_2004's 3-channel rechargeable cMoy and then into my Ultrasone...- BullHorn

In-Ears for travel under $150
ljokerl's review thread of 200+ IEM's as well as the RE-262-specific review make them look very good. My current Sennheiser CX300-II supposedly have +12db bass boost which I don't like, they are too boomy. The question is will I like the weaker bass of the RE-262 or is it too quiet?- BullHorn

[Review] HiFiMAN RE262 - Sophisticated and Beautiful
I'm looking to a buy a pair of earphones. A quick research led me to find the RE-262 to be the best for $150 and actually better than many earphones in the range of 150-400. What scared me was that some people mentioned it has a weak bass? Should I be worried about that?- BullHorn
