The Q701's do very well with female vocals.  I just got my pair in today and compared to my hd600s they are very bass lean.  Their soundstaging abilities are very good.  The only problem with the Q701s is that they are very uncomfortable.  The headband is really hard and the earpads seem hard. ...

Yeah I've tried hangsen and they're really nothing spectacular.  I've tried a lot of juices from expensive to cheap and out of all of them my favorite is Uncle Junk's Monica's Eyes. 

Rather than shelling out 300 for the 598s you can get hd600s for 300 from razordogaudio at the same price if you use the coupon code. But id recommend the beyers given your preferences as theyre great all rounders and are great for gaming. As for amp and dac just go for a modi/magni or odac/02
