I personally don't understand why they use such thick, sleeving materials for the IEM cable, making it so unwieldy for portable use means that it's an at-home only affair, in which case why not just get a full-size headphone system?

Had the Dorados for a couple of days, and coming from the Jupiters, they are undeniably colored, but in a good way, everything sounds incredibly muscular and basslines dominate, such a fun sound! Beauty shot of both Campfires below:

Fair enough, it's just that the stock cable feels and looks very generic in a way that shouldn't be associated with a $3k IEM in my opinion, especially compared to stuff like the Litz cables bundled with the Campfires or the specially built ALO cable bundled with the W80.

Well, looking at both of Nick's reviews (and @crinacle 's FRs) for both those IEMs, there's a good amount of justification for why they are ranked where they are, regardless of subjective preference, both IEMs appear to take a step back technically in one area of the frequency response, with the...

Bit of a nitpick, but after handling the Tia Fourte and the U18 at AXPONA, given that they cost so bloody much, the cables could've certainly been a bit nicer...both sound great though.

Ouroburos would be a nice name for the new flagship, not greek mythology but hey, might as well mix it up a little.

So, given the absence of the Flamenco from this shootout, yet was reviewed in THL by you...@flinkenick where would you rank it relative to the IEMs in the shootout?
