Got my Mixamp and HD650. I have to crank the Mixamp to almost max volume to get loud enough in BF3, but I think that's because the 650's need a little more juice than normal cans. So far it's not bad... the sound positioning does help a little.

Thanks for the input peeps + Val. My M-80's are fine at work, but sometimes when I'm at home I get a bass urge. Started getting into some dubstep and I can see the appeal for bass lovers.   I'm going to my local Sony store to demo the XB500's/700's to hear what everyone's been talking about...

I used to be a competitive gamer and I bought the M-80's a few weeks ago for work. I like these for portable use but when I plug them in to play BF3 or TF2 they're not great, if you're used to good sound imaging for gaming. Look for an open-ear can.

Kinda new here. I have M-80's and S4i's and with my E10's bass boost on I can still use much more bass. Does that make me a bass head?
