I also have a pair of HD555 (modded by taking out foam to make them HD595) that I could compare them to. As HD595 doesn't need an amp. How is the bass compared between HD600 and HD595?

I have a pair of ATH-M50 that I thought had way too much bass. Sold them to a friend. Was fortunate enough to get a pair of 64 Ears V3 custom IEM. And I think their bass is much more than HD600. Does that help?  Will check out on my sandisk and other players.

The bass is really weak yes. I know HD600 doesn't have strong bass. But it seems weaker than it should!

Yes I meant frequency response I especially like the sound when the bass is low, precise and not intimidating. This is the feel of my V3 and HD555. Basically crystal clear mids and highs. I will look them up as you said. Appreciate your help
