Yamaha EPH-100
AFAIK the only compatible SpinFit for Yamaha EPH 100 is the CP155 (https://www.amazon.com/SpinFit-CP155-Patented-Silicone-Replacement/dp/B078RKVNPN), since the bore of this IEM is a bit unusual..... On a side note, my Yamaha EPH 100 has been running for 6 years now. Works really fine, but I...- jugermaut

Advanced Sound Model 3 Impressions Thread
After reading through the comments in this thread, I'm astonished by the reviews and supports by the manufacturer , kudos to that. I'm only one step away to purchasing this baby. One question though, how does this compare to Yamaha EPH-100? I've been using that IEM for the past 3-4 years, and...- jugermaut

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
Will do. Damn that app is quite pricey. Have been using PowerAmp since ever. If it indeed gives me a notable difference, might need to shell some for the app. Trying it soon.- jugermaut

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion
Hi everyone, I just bought a DragonFly Black to use in conjunction with my Nexus 6P, paired with an ATH MSR7. Device is working fine, detected by my audio player of choice (PowerAmp), and produces audio flawlessly through it. A question though...... I can't really..... appreciate a...- jugermaut

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread
Thanks for the advice! Unfortunately, the widely available DAC/AMP here is usually Fiio.... I managed to find some JDS C5D, but it's too expensive and way over my budget (My budget is somewhere around 100$ ish) And yes, I've read around and they recommend DAC with warm sound. However I...- jugermaut

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread
Hello MSR7 lovers! I recently purchased my MSR7 because I wanted a good closed type headphone, and I've heard about it quite a while. Any recommendation for a good DAC/AMP combo that can improve the sound quality? I've heard that this particular headphone is quite choosy. I'd prefer the ones...- jugermaut

Sennheiser Momentum Over Ear: Smelly Ear cup........
Sorry for the long update, Apparently, using vinegar produced the most desirable effect. After putting it inside a sealed container, with a cup of vinegar, for 24 hours, I took it out. It stinks of vinegar, so I need to air them out, for around 3-4 days until the smell completely dissipates...- jugermaut

Sennheiser Momentum Over Ear: Smelly Ear cup........
Thanks for the references Redcarmoose Some of them mentioned about using vinegar.... But I'm worried that might ruin the leather. Seems to be powerful enough to get rid of the smell though. Will research more on that.- jugermaut

Sennheiser Momentum Over Ear: Smelly Ear cup........
What..... I didn't even know that Nakamichi has the copycat of momentum..... Might resort to that.... And yes, I'm starting to think that this is the natural leather smell. Problem is, the one that I smelled in the retail store wasn't like this..... @Dyaems I even tried drowning it...- jugermaut

Sennheiser Momentum Over Ear: Smelly Ear cup........
I LOLed :D So, after I washed it in the washing machine (2 times), hand cleaning it, dipping it into the antiseptic solution, drying it under the shades, and put it within the sealed container with baking soda in it for 2 weeks (I replaced the baking soda every 3 days mind...- jugermaut

Sennheiser Momentum Over Ear: Smelly Ear cup........
Soo, apparently the thread grew a bit since I left to try the methods I actually threw it to the washing machine yesterday, but the smell still lingers. I'm pretty sure this smell is not from the leather, since I've smelt the brand new ones (yes, I randomly went out to some newly opened...- jugermaut

Thank you again for the replies!! Yes, one of my concern is that it has mixed fabrics.... I'm pretty sure the insides can withstand the washing machine. As for the leather though..... I don't know what will happen if it touched the detergents. Will try to research some more then :D.- jugermaut

Thanks for the reply!!! 60$?? :'( I think replacing it will be my last resort. For now, any tips on how to clean it? If possible, to the point it will not smell at all... But again, that entry on ebay....I'll just put a tag on it. Might be useful later :D. Thanks!- jugermaut

Open Vs Closed?
Probably echoing caused by bouncing sounds in the closed type. As for me, I own a pair of HD598. I like it because it's not "banging" to my head like some previous closed headphones that I tried. It feels like it relieves the pressure caused by closed types. But to be honest, sometimes I...- jugermaut
