    Upgrading from ad700 possibly to akg 701

    Hi, I was thinking about upgrading from by ath ad700s to the akg 701s, as the 701s are on sale on amazon right now for about $190 USD. Is this a worthwhile upgrade?   I currently have a asus xonar stx, would I be able to drive these headphones well?   Thanks for any advice.

    What are the best headphones for the Asus Xonar STX?

    I currently have AD700's with a xonar STX, and I was thinking about maxing out my sound card with the best headphones for it. I'm not interested in going with a full on dedicated amp, or any of that. Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks.

    upgrading from ad700's

    I currently have ad700's with a xonar stx soundcard, and I was looking for a decent upgrade. I love the ad700's alot, they work for what I like, so would the ad900's be a worthwhile upgrade?   any other suggestions are welcome.

    Best headphones for someone who already has a asus xonar stx (up to 600 ohms)

    My current sound setup is ad700's paired with a xonar essence stx. I'm looking to upgrade, and I just wanted to know what headphones would be a good upgrade for me and my soundcard could still handle well.   lets say my budget is $250 and below, but preferably less than $200 USD  ...
