    Are these MS-1's even salvagable?

What you see is all there is...   Needs a recable obviously but there's almost nothing here but the drivers, even the back of one of the cups is missing.  No source for the missing parts other than buying another pair as far as I know.  I think Grado would just tell me to throw it away and...

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)

Does the Koss CS100 headset have the same drivers as the KSC35/75/Portapro/etc?  Are any of their models with built in mics worth looking at?  A built in boom mic or a 3.5mm jack built in is pretty much mandatory for me or I'd just use my Grados.  ...

Chaintech AV-710 Setup Thread, Including True 44.1kHz Wolfson Output in XP

Chaintech AV-710 Setup Thread, Including True 44.1kHz Wolfson Output in XP

Windows 7 won't let you downgrade the drivers that way anymore, the only way to get the 4.60b drivers to install once you've already had the newer ones is to uninstall and delete the previous driver files.  Simply uninstalling the device won't work, if the newer drivers are still there it will...

Chaintech AV-710 Setup Thread, Including True 44.1kHz Wolfson Output in XP

I have to move this card into a new build and do the driver install all over again, so I'll report back here if I get it to work.  It was a real horror show the last time.   I remember that the black port would never work in one pci slot no matter what I did but would in another, less...
