Are college students really poor?
I'm not really very poor at all. I've got a pretty substantial amount in savings that basically sits there and builds up slowly until I'll stumble upon a purchase I need or want to make. Sigma Lens for Digital Rebel XT?
Don't worry too much about the name, but more the particular lens if you're looking at Canon/Tokina/Sigma/Tamron. My Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 is one of the best lenses I've ever used.
