Initial listening impression is WOW, just wow.  Incredibly spacious and musical, every note is a pleasure.  What is most impressive about his headphone is how smooth the sound signature is without feeling compressed, IMO I've heard Fostex/Audeze cans that seem to smoosh their sound signature...

Well I bit the bullet and bought one, should be here tomorrow.  Eagerly hoping it lives up to its reputation of being a "musical," headphone with a good soundstage.  I thought the LCD-2rev 2 was it for me but to my surprise I found a fostex with mids that were even more lush but utterly inferior...

Greetings head-fiers, A little background. Hifi is a fickle thing, it seems no matter how much money you spend, something is always wrong with your rig.  Your favourite manufacturer comes out with a new model, maybe my DAC isn't good enough, is all my music 320? I've danced around the game...

its an awesome product but i'd hate to think of the wear and tear on the USB port from its physical design

320kbs is perfect, almost-flac quality, and fits just fine on the 'ol ipod

The AKG Quincy Jones for $49 are amazing as long as you have a decent source, they will sound like garbage straight out of an IPOD but with any decent dac you'll have something plenty aggressive with good all around sound staging and bass to boot

i just picked one up last week and the bass boost is awesome
