1964 Ears
Damn. Missed the Labor day sale. Oh well, hopefully they will have another around Xmas. The wait to demo various models is taking forever, must be a lot of people ahead of me. I've been waiting for over a month and nothing has opened up yet.- vabch22

Cosmic Ears - new CIEM company with great prices (including Hybrid designs!)
I have been trying to decide between the CE4E or the 1964 Ears Qi. So hard to decide without being able to hear them.- vabch22

1964 Ears
Question for all you EDM guys, I recently picked up the Sony XB90EX from my friend as the bass was too much for him. I however, find them great for EDM running off my ALO International. Does anyone have any experience with the Sony's and if so, which 1964 would they most likely compare to as far...- vabch22

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
I really need to stop following this thread.. those frggin designs are almost better than porn. Amazing. Quote: I'd be really interested in this. I've been debating between the 4C/5C Noble options compared to the 1964 Qi/V6s/V8. I will most likely buy blind, but I am sure as my first...- vabch22

Best bass IEM for $200 and under
The Yamaha EPH-100's ($100) are great for EDM imo from what I remember. I believe the RHA MA-750 ($120) is supposed be more geared towards the basshead and better than the Yamaha's, but I do not have experience with them.- vabch22

New from Garage1217, the solid-state Project Polaris!
I got my Polaris in and brought it into the office to test it out along with my Mad Dog 3.2's initially. By no means am I an audiophile, but it sounds great. :) I prefer it over my M-Stage for sure which is much darker. I need to play with the bandwidth settings some as this option is new to me...- vabch22

1964 Ears
I was also considering the 4C's , but after emailing Brannan he suggested the 5C's for my sound preference. Maybe this will help you some. But at this price point, it puts me into the V8 realm. Tough choices. "Judging by your description of what you are looking for, I think the 5C would be...- vabch22

1964 Ears
This is great info, thanks. It gives me an idea of the V3 sound as I have been considering those along with the Qi as this would be my first custom. I think anything I pick will be an upgrade from my 4R.- vabch22

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
@Kozato - I signed up for the wait queue on demo units from 1964 ears. I didn't see a demo page on Noble audio unless I missed it. I'll give them a call after work to inquire. Thanks For the suggestion. @DougofTheAbaci - The 4C or 5C are the models that I was eye balling. I also wanted to keep...- vabch22

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
I'm currently saving up to make a jump into customs from my Westone 4R. After finding this thread and reading the multi-iem comparison by joker (amazing job), I've narrowed it down to either Noble or 1964. Those of you that got the K10, I'm so jealous. That is a thing a beauty though way out of...- vabch22

1964 Ears
Thanks for the comparisons. I almost wish I started researching before the July 1st price increase. I've always started small but somehow always end up on the middle or top tier in the end so I should just save myself the money to begin with. :) I keep flip flopping between the Qi and V6S. I...- vabch22

1964 Ears
Hey guys, I'm making the jump into the CIEM territory. I began looking at the JH5, but 1964 ears caught my interest. I mainly have full sized headphone experience. I am going to put in a demo request, and I was thinking the Qi and v6 model based on this thread. I'd like to stay under $650. The...- vabch22

US Availability for FiiO E17
Saw the E17 finally pop up on the main page and placed my order. :) Can't wait to get it in to do some comparisons to the E10 I already have. From everything that I have read, it should be a nice little upgrade. -

Ear Pad Replacement for Ath Pro700 mk2?
I just got a pair of these to see what all the fuss was about, and they definatly are for the bass heads. I passed them around the office and two coworkers ordered a pair after listening to them. The only ear pad option I've seen is using the m50 pads. I'm going to order some and see how they...- vabch22

Need a setup for work - Cans/DAC/Amp
Thanks all. I picked up the D2000's for work since they seem to be a great can for price/sound and will use them primarily for CD's and MOG 320kbps streams for right now. HDTracks doesn't offer any music that I would want to pay the extra money for, so I will keep looking for other sites. I also...- vabch22

Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
Thanks for the links and suggestions guys. I just picked up a matched pair of the 6J1P's 70's since they can be dropped in without any jumper changes from the 6JI stock and are only about $20 shipped. From what I've read it should be a nice little cheap upgrade. I'll look into the 408a's and...- vabch22

Little Dot Tube Amps: Vacuum Tube Rolling Guide
I just got a used LD i+ and was looking at trying some tubes. I've always used SS amps, so I am new to vacuum tubes. I keep seeing everyone mention the Voskhod's, but do not see the actual 6ZH1P-EV model listed anywhere. Is it the same thing as the 6J1P-EV ones? Also, what is the difference...- vabch22
