I wouldnt opt for the detox as its the same thing as the pro's. But definietly they are Ok for the price and quality and...

I think if the source is good enough you dont need an extra amp... something like ipods have very good sound quality. i tried using an amp and technically the difference is very minimal.

well yes,.. they are boomy and you would like it overall.. they are indeed the most sold inexpensive iems.. not as good as the turbines but definietly upto par with them

if you want boomy boomy then go for cx300 they are about 50 dollars and they do have clear good bass..

I have the X10i.. and Im really satisfied with it.. they r small and comfirtable and they do produce good sound.. on the other hand I do have a Westone 4 as well.. I could hear all the details with a neutral soundstage while the X10i has a sound stage which clarifies more onto more details.. so...

hello mark,   What kind of amp do you use, and what is your device? I have never seen anyone carrying an amp.. even in the apple store.. or even professional audio stores.. they rarely have them.. unless your a big DJ and then they would provide you with a DJ amp... so to be more cleaner on...

haha yeah... the nano is pretty small.. and the details are quiet good lol.. I mean you could propably hear music which you have never heard of.. to tell you the truth.. I have rarely seen anyone even pairing with any amps at all... isnt the nano built with an AMP anyway??? Do you use an AMP...
