Am I going to run into any connectivity or chat sound quality issues connecting K712 + mic via a Y cable to a 2013 Mixamp's headphone jack and then Mixamp to PS4 via optical (game sound) and USB (chat + power)?  I thought by setting the PS4 'output to headpone' setting to 'chat audio' everything...

So I have the 2013 Mixamp on its way to me from Amazon, it will go with K712 and an O2 playing a PS4. Are there still chat issues connecting the Mixamp to the PS4? I was going to connect via USB but just read about sound quality issues with chat using this method?

Surprisingly no... plenty of the new AD700x but not the old AD700... unless I'm blind?  There are a few used AD700 but for extremely high prices.  Can you post a link if you're seeing something I'm not?
