    Whenever I see someone with Beats, I die a little inside.    Why do people keep buying them? Do they actually compare to my Beyerdynamic DT 990 P's? Do their buds compare to my Shure SE 425's?   Thoughts?

    My friend is worried about bacteria growing inside his ears as a result of closed/open over the ear headphones. I have been wearing headphones such as Sennheiser HD 595, BD DT770 and 990 Shure SE425 (span of 10yr) and have had no issues.    I keep telling him it's a silly thing to worry...
