Hi duderiinos, Was somewhat active here years ago, and have had a lot of different headphones and amps. Most hi-end ones were Grado GS-1000. But been moving around the world and had to first leave the LittleDot and now also the Grados as well (well they were breaking in pieces to be honest)...

I have PK1's with same problem, need advice also. First one I sent for replacement since they had guarantee but these don't have anymore. Pretty ridicilous to pay this amount of money for puds that don't last more than 6 months if you ask me.

Anyone heard of "Westinghouse 6AK5W" or "National Union JNU 6AK5"? Never ever heard of those manufacturers, or are they just some relabeled tubes? God I gotta get rid of this amp, these tubes are beginning to cost more than a new amp.. Still waiting for those France RTC 5654's, I'll post some...

Damn you guys. I haven't even received my (recabled) AKG701's yet and I'm thinking of selling them to get these. I guess there ain't any European retailer for these? Damn those VAT's and taxes, raises the price by over 25%.
