The MC5 seems to share the same housing as the im716. I wonder if they are actually the same thing. I really liked the im716 when I had it, although it was a little warmer than the er4. Unfortunately my puppy back then had mistaken it as a toy and destroyed it.  

I don't think the custom tips will get you much better isolation. It's definitely gonna be more comfortable  Broken in tips are pretty comfortable anyways especially with the glider tips.

ONE WEEK LATER   Have not heard from ACS custom if they have received my impression. They also did not reply my email with regards to my special instruction for the mold. Although Monday is a holiday in Canada, I'm pretty sure the impression has already arrived in ACS custom at Ottawa.

I'm looking for a case that can keep my sansa and er4 with custom mold in place. This will be hooked to my pants most of the time. I Before I dump 300 bucks in an LV Wapity case, can someone show me something smaller, lighter, and cheaper that is fashionable yet functional?

Isolation is great. Careful if you have dogs at home, my dog eats them in whole.

Nah, Grado with their HF-# marketing was way better than Monster. They would even APPRECIATE in price, would the Monster phones? didn't think so. 

Let's see how's the Canadian franchise like. I sure hope they don't mess up my order. I instructed them to send the molds directly to me instead of sending them to the audiologist. I really don't want to go downtown just to pick them up...that's at least $6 on commuting and 2 hours of time gone.

How about you pick up a pair of KSC75 from NCIX when they go on sale, or the portapros to see if you enjoy that kind of sound. If you do, you can go straight to Grado.
