The easiest way to describe these is that it's like being at a club vs being at an intimate concert... Big bass, a lot of bass. Response in the rest of the range is suitable for casual listening.   They are very fun to listen to, but they are definitely not for critical listening or studio...

there is nothing wrong with the cable.. it's no worse than any of the top models out there for quality. that being said, they'd last about as long as any other iem cable out there... take that w/ a grain of salt.

ok. first impressions.. crappy packaging.. i got them in a lil pouch in a crappy box in a cruddy DHL bag that was beat up. the SuperFreQs are ultra-pretty.. i got clear/clear with black cable. a few imperfections in the acryllic, but nothing that is out of reason when working with this type...
