Have you tried short tapping the upper right corner (in 3x3 grid mode) to alternate between file browsing (external and database) from your last location and the now playing screen?

I've had the same sort of issue with it locking up regardless of the hard resets/firmware (re)flashes. Most of the time, for me, the volume would skyrocket without the player volume showing any change just before freezing and requiring a battery pull. It seems to be affected by static...

  BASS, lots of it depending on music genre.   I don't really have much experience with IEMs. I usually stick to cheap earphones; the only IEM of note I used for a while was a Shure SE310. I've been looking for a fun sounding phone to pair with my DX50 and the N3 looked interesting...

  I haven't played around with many multi cd albums yet, but the ones on my sd card play correctly. I used Mp3tag for tagging after using foobar to rip the albums to FLAC and simply denoted them as disc number/total discs (such as 1/2, 2/2) in the discnumber field (as the format defaults to)...

  Hold both the power and volume up buttons simultaneously while booting up. The option to apply the firmware update from the SD card should show up.

  Tap on the icon to the left of the playlist name. It should give you the option to either play the list or delete it.
