I've tried it as well. It helped... A bit. Haha still having weird noises, likely from the ground. I can even hear difference in the pitch of the noise when I plug my computer to an external lcd screen and change the brightness setting. So it's really bad. Curious enough these problems aren't...

Have you guys tried DSD on the L3 yet?

Problem is the USB noise from my computer is so bad that I don't think even the audio quest will help much. Might have to get a proper USB power supply like the ifi iUSB3.0

  One more thing, i noticed a significant amount of noise when using it on USB DAC mode.    Edit: Update, noise issues is due to noisy USB power from my computer.

Ok, just a small update, I've found and tried the "short delay" setting and found it to be MUCH better. There is still a noticeable delay but it's not as bad. 

I haven't changed any other settings, i'll go try the "short delay" and let you know how that goes. Can't play any FPS games with this right now heh

  One more thing, do check your "Playback devices". My L3 came up as "USB Audio Device" and i had to select it as primary output device.(It's not automatic unlike my DACport)

  I'm using it fine from a USB 3.0 port, you need to set the USB connection in the settings to DAC mode, not MISC mode.  Also, i maxed the volume from the player before plugging in. Not sure if that helped.    However, not sure if this is just me but i'm having a delay when using it in USB...

Hey guys. Okay honest question here, I am not trying to start a debate. Just want to hear your opinions... Does anybody notice any sound difference when playing from the on-board memory vs a microsd card?

1. Turn off Clearaudio... Dosent sound as good. 2. You need a load/earphone for the player to play/burn in. Any earphone/headphone will do. Even El cheapo ear buds. Plug it in and let the player run.
