How's the comfort on this? Been thinking about grabbing one when they do a restock on it.

I'm hearing constant white noise when connected to my PC through dongle. Anyone else getting this? I hear it constantly when nothing is playing.

I actually got the same thing the other day. Was thinking about submitting the headset for RMA. If I shake my head even just a little, the right cup area has a rattling sound. No idea where it's coming from since it doesn't seem to be from within the headset. Can't tell for certain.

They went to Audeze HQ to have the sound tested. Pretty much identical with the stock pads.

Has there been any third party ear pads replacements yet? The weather is getting warmer here and the leather pads are starting to make the headset too hot. The weight doesn't help as well so trying to mitigate the issue as much as possible. Have any gel or mesh earpad replacements come out?

What's the best way to update the dongle? It doesn't pop up on the Windows app for me. Even when I'm connected to the dongle through USB adapter + set to PC. I never get the prompt to update the dongle through the Windows app.

Anyone else getting random disconnect issues on PC? I'm connected to the dongle through the USB adapter. Having zero issues with mine. Been using it every day since I got it. Way better then the Penrose, which I couldn't use past the first day.

I have it set to PC but I'm using a USB A to USB C adapter. Maybe that's what stopping it from connecting to update? Hope they have a work around if so since not everyone has a USB-C port on their PC.

I'm not seeing that option anywhere. I connect to the dongle first, have the headset on, then plug it in to my PC through USB, open the Audeze app and only see that the headset is at the latest firmware. Does it show your dongle in the app?

Tried messing with that dial and it just lowered the volume of both my PC audio and my Discord chat. Not exactly sure what the function of the dial is? Does anyone know if Chatmix works on Maxwell for PC?

Using the "Standard" Krisp without the noise filtering on the headset made it work better for me. Also raise the level for the microphone through Windows sound control to 100.

For some reason, using the mic without the noise suppression, really reduces the mics output volume. Is this intended?

Okay so right off the bat, putting them on for the first time, 1000% more comfortable than the Penrose. Penrose had way too high of a clamping force and a bad headband that dug into the top of you head. It felt too rigid and tight. This feels way lighter and the earpads feels very soft with good...

Thank god. One of the reasons I dumped my Penrose. That thing would disconnect if I leaned my head the wrong way. Meanwhile my Arctis 7 still stays connected if I step out of the house.

Yeah I imagine they have various workers and machines updating a bunch of headsets at the same time, so it wont be 1/1 by time of order since it depends on when each individual headset gets updated. Then they need to get repackaged by people and sent to the shipping team.

Headset has officially been dropped off to UPS and is on the way! Delivery is set for the 22nd. Going from Cali all the way to NY. Can't wait for it to arrive.
