My "upgrade" was honestly solely due to the factory cables breaking at the right side cable joint. Amazon was out of the 20 dollar RC-UE1s and Micca had the 2s in stock for 30. UE wants 50 bucks for the same POS cable? It was a no-brainer.

I've spend hundreds of hours listening to my tf10s with the stock cable so I'm fairly confident my brain isn't playing with me when I say the RC-UE2s are a really great upgrade. I say upgrade because the sound signature didn't drastically change but there is a distinct clarity in the low end...
