Id have to give it to the ath m50. They were uncomfortable with a tight clamp and downright sweat enducing. The sound was mediocre oooooook at best. Compared to my A700s they couldnt hold a candle in soundstage or comfort. The treble felt really recessed as well.

From what've I read/heard from others the Diamond tears sound is quite a bit better in terms of being more neutral (less bloaty bass/rolled off treble). The DNA pretty much a better sounding beats solo.  I'd go the diamond tears route just on sound alone plus they look pretty darn sick
