To add, I don't know of any other IEM's that have interchangeable filters/sound. Maybe someone knows of others?

The one great thing about the PFE that many fail to mention is that you can change its sound. So if you want more bass. You put on the bass filters If you want more mids. You put on the mids filters. I believe you can have 3 different sounds as I think it comes with 3 sets of filters So if...

I was gonna pull the trigger on the PFE's But then I heard that the new PFE's were gonna come out So in the meantime I picked up my $65 Shure 215 as I figured I can't go wrong for an everyday headphone

I dont know for sure if PFE are good I'm just going by what the experts (like you) are saying about them. :-)

High Q   i have not heard PFE's   you gonna get the new PFE's with dual drivers... maybe these will be the "ones to beat"

i think the overall consensus is that the TF10's  have amazing sound but comfort/fit questionable on many and the IE7's compared to TF10's better comfort and "less" amazing sound,   keep in mind that the TF10's when first released i believe were in the high $300's,  so i'd assume quality...

PFE prob get bad reviews on Amazon,  because "true"  audio peeps don't usually buy from there.  (though i did get my $65 Shure 215's from there   :-)   people shopping Amazon (in general, not all) i'd think are bassheads,    and as soon as they hear a true balanced sound,  which may not...

lukaleo,   why not consider the Phonak Audeo PFE112 ? many seem to consider these as having a very nice & balanced sound

i have never tried any shures i have the 215's coming wednesday   i think i'll be happy with the $65 purchase,  probably the BEST bang for the buck EVER

On the site from which these $65 215's are coming Says they are an authorized Shure Dealer with logo etc. And they sell lots other shure headphones. Are they here yet?

Doing the flip mod Putting left cable on right IEM And right cable on left IEM Wouldn't that change the left/right stereo image? So what was on left ear now goes to right? That I would not want as I want to hear the music the way it was mixed , not vice-versa Thanks in advance for the answer
