Quote: Yes, BUT the pain is they will ask to take your whole TF10 back and you WILL be without them for a week or two. BUT in an exemplary case of inefficiency, they don't replace your cable, they send you a whole NEW retail TF10! Which is great if you like new stuff fresh from a...- illquid

Quote: This the actual official warranty. Since owned by logitech, their warranty policy of 2 years applies to the TF10s, I know it still states that on the UE website it's 1 year.- illquid

I wouldn't recommend messing with the polarity, its more likely than not to mess with the whole stereo imaging, that the music is actually supposed to have. A bit like hooking up speakers and getting the red/black mixed up on the L or R channel.- illquid

Quote: Typical reaction of a believer! haha, its all in good fun as your reply was... But the truth is YES, I do own one, otherwise I would be in no position to make such a statement, even light heartedly! It worked very well with my TF10, not that great with my SM3s and the...- illquid

it's a fun toy so far, but until I figure out a way of carrying it around easily, it's not going to see much use unfortunately. It definitely does not suit the SM3s I own, so if I want to switch up what I listen to, I have to take apart my setup every time. I can't see myself shifting my...- illquid

I ran a T3D with my TF10s, it sounds better. Definitely not value / sound improvement, but really, it never is. I prefer what a Digizoid ZO did though with the TF10s but the T3D/T3 is a very nice amp, its grown more and more over time, when I go back to unamped, I notice a difference...- illquid

Earsonics sm3 V2
I didn't particularly like the SM3s with the ZO at all, maybe as I like the sound sig of the SM3s already. With the ZO on the lowest settings, it was nice enough / ok, but I felt SQ was significantly worse over that, in particular the mids and treble got drowned / veiled. I also have a...- illquid

I tried running the ZO from a ipod touch and a ibasso T3D and it sounded poor, so I definitely prefer straight into ZO from my ipod. I also found it did improved sound much more through headphones than my SM3s and other IEMs, or perhaps I just like the sound sig of my SM3s as is, the bass is...- illquid

If its the pic I took, then yes, that is real, its zoomed in. That's what the wire looks like underneath the plastic sleeving. I presume it should be the same for the black.- illquid

Raguvian - I would be cautious about getting custom tips if you already find stock tips comfortable, because the custom tips also fill your concha, there's a lot of added bulk to an already quite awkward design. This is the reason why I wear my TF10s hanging down rather than over the ear. The...- illquid

I have a pair of those cables, they are the official UE clear cables. There's some shots of it in my review of the Effect Audio Athena cables in this thread. The casing is stiffer than the black cables but look pretty cool.- illquid

The treble was the best part as I said in the review, the TF10 treble is just too much for me in general anyway, absolutely nothing to do with the cable just to clarify. I wear them hanging down like you'd wear them over ear, but rotated 180 degrees. So the wire hangs almost straight...- illquid
