Gustard U12 USB Interface 8 Core XMOS chip

Just to confirm, as expected above, that the breeze du-u8 works in Linux with no update needed. My configuration: Voyage MPD Linux => Empirical Audio Short Block => USB-Regen => Breeze Audio Cheers

I hope so but we will see. I understand that the Regen is kind of USB hub so the device after it must be compatible too. Cheers

Gustard U12 USB Interface 8 Core XMOS chip

Hi Etienne, I expect to receive my Breeze tomorrow (after paying around 35€ in import  taxes :( ) and I hope that it works with Linux as I do not plan to change to Windows.   I have a very similar system:  Voyage MPD Linux  => Empirical Audio Short Block =>  USB-Regen  =>  Gustard U12 / Breeze...

I missed that post, I did not know that the seller would do that. Thanks for the reply anyway

Gustard U12 USB Interface 8 Core XMOS chip

Thanks!   I am waiting for my Breeze Version 3 to arrive. I would like to try crystek clocks but I am not sure if I will be able to install them. Is it an easy operation for someone that only used the solder to replace resistors and caps here and there?   Cheers

Nonsense Back to the Future positivism:   Using the SOM architecture will increase our overall cost and integration design time, but definitely will provide the much better FUTURE PROVE capability.   (Extracted from last Campaign Update)

    The Pono Player Impressions Thread

I might have used an unfortunate word. When I said bad filters I did not mean filters that deteriorate the track on purpose. Among the different standard filters that they could use, they might have used lesser ones.

    The Pono Player Impressions Thread

Is there anybody else getting errors when trying to generate Pono revealer tracks?    I always get the same error regardless of the track used: "Error occurred generating this Pono Revealer Track. Please try a different song.". What I do in the Pono Music World app: - Go to the PonoPlayer...

PONO - Neil Youngs portable hi-res music player

I almost threw it out the window when I started it up for the first time and tried to find folder navigation to play something from the SD card. Then I calmed down and resisted the temptation.   It keeps happening every day that I use it, kind of Groundhog Day.   :)

The only thing that I miss on the Pono is folder navigation. I wish it gets implemented in a not too far future version.

I think that it is clear that LH wants to make the W32 a lower product. Maybe I am wrong but I do not think that there are technical reasons not to include the femto clock nor the SABRE 9018AQ2M in the W32. I would not be surprised if the W32 lacks other basic features compared to the W64...

    Light Harmonic Geek Wave

I do not think so as they already rejected the possibility of giving me a full refund in previous tickets. I always referred to my previous tickets and they should know what I was talking about. From their side, they agreed that they made a mistake and that is the reason why the made me a refund...

    Light Harmonic Geek Wave

I throw the towel. I am tired of opening tickets and having them closed without a solution or asking me first.   My last message to support: …. Anyway, I gave you prove from 2 different official sources (your production updates) + message from Larry Ho in the LH forum that the perk was...

PONO - Neil Youngs portable hi-res music player

Thanks for the advice. I have Zuma too and it is among my favourites. My SQ ranking as of today would be: 1. Comes A Time 2. Rust Never Sleeps 3. Zuma 4. Everyone Knows This is Nowhere .... Cheers

PONO - Neil Youngs portable hi-res music player

Everybody Knows This is Nowhere Pono sounds good but Rust Never Sleeps P. sounds better to me and Comes A Time P. is in the very top of the Pono releases in my opinion.

I'm not interested in the GW32 without femto clock so I'm trying to get a full refund as I believe that it is their mistake and not mine.

    Light Harmonic Geek Wave

Actually they refunded me only for the erroneous perk, not for the Wave32 nor the other perks that I backed. I guess that now that the campaign ended they could not refund me campaign credits. Good luck, please post your experience. Cheers

    Light Harmonic Geek Wave

I backed a Wave 32 with a few perks including "Femto Clock Upgrade". When I wanted to do the survey I did not see this perk available so I checked with customer support.   I got several replies saying that I backed erroneously for that perk (which I do not agree, it is even in the below excel...

    LAMPIZATOR THREAD COMMENTS REVIEWS TUNING

From: http://theaudiotraveler.com/2014/10/04/new-york-2014-lampizator/   :     "Previously, this was done manually, but now there’s a really handy remote for switching the paths around."   I asked about an auto-sensing feature, something that could “see” whether the incoming bitstream...
