There is something extremely wrong about electric guitars. It's like the AMP bass was turned up to 11. Do you notice this? I find everything sounds great except there is this hollowness / oddness to the mids. They remain detailed but there is just a weird... Hollowness to it.

Definitely debating grabbing one of these for gaming and just using an equalizer to fix the treble region. Are the Penrose going to be the same? I believe they're the same drivers. It's either those or the Sundaras.

I'm a bit afraid of this DAC. Windows automatically puts it at 100% whenever I connect it by default. Trying it now it seems to have set it to the last adjustment I had, but, honestly, with no hardware control, I'm nervous of this puppy.

What about stereo cross talk? I hear having independent amplifiers for each channel virtually eliminate cross talk?

Fixed the power control on the desktop too. Whenever I had it plugged into my laptop I had to keep it at 8 (out of 100) to not blow my ears.

Do these have balanced circuity by any chance? I wonder how they'd performance balanced? Awesome!

I've heard they isolate sound fairly well without ANC anyways. There wasn't much difference between ANC on and off apparently.
