So I'm revisiting this thread again after several weeks off. After 329 pages, we still don't have the concrete availability date for people in the USA yet? I'm glad I withdrew my $1,000 pre-order deposit last month.

Blaming the delay almost half a year (from Jan-->April-->June) to Brexit seems legitimate :-D . That's it, my $1,000 deposit had been held captive long enough. I'm asking my dealer to give it back on Monday. We all sh realize by now that June isn't a concrete estimate either.

Damn. Just read through another 4 pages of new replies. Still no update on when the first batch will be shipped out.

I think I read somewhere that Rob Watts was wrapping up on the codes for the final product (of Hugo 2) to be displayed & demo at CanJam Singapore.  Anybody demo the Hugo 2 at CanJam Singapore?  Also, any news on when the first batch reaches the North American shore?

What? You made me put a deposit of $1,000 saying your brother set up the policy so. Damn! Anyhow, I hope you keep the promise that we get full deposit back if the transaction is not completed for any reason.

Can we get an official word from Chord on when the first batch will be shipped out? The dealer is holding $1,000 for deposit. I just wanna know when it'll be shipped so I'll still be within the 30 days credit card/Paypal protection time frame. Thanks

It is more profitable for Chord to come out with a Dave2 than to "upgrade" the Dave 1 for everybody.

I assume the Hugo 2 and Dave's gap would be even narrower when both serve as secondary device after pairing up with the M-scaler?

  Not trying to pick a fight, but you almost made it sounds like we can bring it to Best Buy or somewhere easy to find to get the battery replaced. Is there a directory that we can look up for the "competent technician" in our areas? Even if we can find technicians with solid ironing skills...

But will that be the standard treatment to all Hugo customers when their battery eventually dies 3-4 years after purchase? Or this is a one-time exception/offer? Will each Hugo owner have to go through what elviscapris did (many back-and-forth posts & replies in forum) to get their battery...

Anybody know when the first batch of Hugo 2 will be sold? Are vendors taking ore-orders now? If yes, I assume the MSRP for it has been announced?

John/Rob,       Can any of you confirm whether or not the Bluetooth hardware/connection has been improved in the Hugo 2?  The reason I ask is because I (and many others) have experienced issues with the Bluetooth connection with the Hugo 1, and up to this day there is no official fix/solution...
