hd25-1 impressions thread
After having my HD25's for eight months, they still impress me with the music that reach my ears and the amount of isolation. I'm not gentle on them either and they haven't shown signs of wear.- samtr87

The PA2V2 Thread
Quote: What do the rechargeables do that make the amp sound better? Don't rechargeable AA batteries provide the same voltage as alkaline batteries?- samtr87

HD 25-1 II are superb.
Quote: Mine get tossed around quite often. I just wrap the cord around and put them in my backpack when I go to school. When I get home I toss them on my desk, end table, or bed. They don't actually get stored because I use them often.- samtr87

android vs. iphone for sound quailty?
Quote: This is my experience. Add Galaxy tuner to the mix and my Galaxy S sounds amazing. I wouldn't give up my Captivate for an iPhone 4- samtr87

Rock boxed clip + or Samsung galaxy S captivate
I also have a Captivate and have rooted and flashed roms many time (like 20+) and hav yet to brick it. Here are some links if you become interested again. Voodoo sound mod really lets loose the Wolfson dac in this thing. It sounded pretty lackluster with the factory parameters. Rooting and...- samtr87

Hi, I posted this in the accessories section, but it wasn't getting any views. I don't usually double post but maybe someone here can help me. I found a pair of Yamaha RH-5M headphones that my dad bought in the 90s, and from what I can tell he never used them before. But due to time the...- samtr87

The PA2V2 Thread
I have Sennheiser HD25-IIs and was wondering if they would benefit from an amplifier such as the pa2v2? Sources used are a Samsung Galaxy S phone, Macbook Pro, and occasionally a second gen iPod Nano. I already e-mailed Gary for a price and thought I would ask before committing to buy it. TIA- samtr87

HD 25-1 II are superb.
I got a pair of HD25-II a month ago. They're my first quality headphones so I don't have anything to compare them to. I almost bought the Audio Technica ATH-M50. In fact the HD25 were an impulse buy. I like them. Rock and techno music sound great on them. Dave Matthews and Eric Clapton makes me...- samtr87

HD 595s $115 on Amazon right now.
Hi everyone, I'm looking to get my first set of good headphones and I was about to pull the trigger on a pair of Audio Technica M50, but I came across this thread and am giving some consideration to the HD595. I know the HD595 are open and the M50 are closed, but which has better sound quality...- samtr87
