IEMs for Metal/Rock (replacement for Brainwavz M3)
Thanks for your recommendations. Rockit R50 seem truly great, but they're a bit over my budget limit. Now my problem is that I don't know what sound signature would be better for metal. V-shapes like SHE3580 or M4 seem to be satisfying in terms of bass and treble, but if they're lacking mids...- martian007

IEMs for Metal/Rock (replacement for Brainwavz M3)
I've read that the M4 have a little recessed mids, although I have seen them recommended for rock/metal. How do you feel heavy guitars with them? I'd also like to know if they have good instrument separation and a decent soundstage (I hate the claustrophobic feeling you get with some cheap...- martian007

IEMs for Metal/Rock (replacement for Brainwavz M3)
Wow, those are not cheap at all. Any opinions on the two IEMs I mentioned? I'm not looking for excellent performers in all frequencies. The "balanced" thing is because I don't like the feeling of the music "lacking" certain sounds. For the music genres I like, which of the options is better? Or...- martian007

IEMs for Metal/Rock (replacement for Brainwavz M3)
I know there are lots of threads asking for recommendation like this one and as I don't want to steal much of your time I'll try to be as clear as possible about what I'm looking for. My Brainwavz M3 broke after a year and a half of moderate use (its actually possible to listen to them but...- martian007

I was trying to decide between RE and M3, but the SuperFi 5 at this price are really attractive. Would you recommend the UE over the Brainwavz M3 or the RE0? Their original cost doubles my two initial option's price, but i don't know if they are really a step up.- martian007

Brainwavz M1+E5 vs M2
Thanks for your answers. I'm also going for the M2, i think I'll enjoy their more powerful bass when listening to metal over the more analytical sound of the M1. Also, the build quality of the M2 seems way better compared to the M1. The M2+E5 combo is interesting indeed, since it's like...- martian007

Brainwavz M1+E5 vs M2
First of all, i'm Spanish, so sorry for my bad english. I've taken look at mp4nation.net and I'm very interested in the Brainwavz M1. If I preorder them before Nov 15th, I will get them for just $29. But I've read that the M2 are also a very good headphones with a more powerfull bass than the...- martian007
