To this day, there has yet to be a PMP with the portability, battery life, sound quality, and feature set that matches the J3, even from Cowon. 

Man, I carry my J3+SE535 combo everywhere...such good sound that fits in my jeans :)

Are there better volume attenuators our there or should I stick with the stock Shure one?

So should I leave the Shure SE535 + J3 setup that I have unamped, or amped? Because I already have a custom EQ for unamped. What would be a good EQ setting for SE535 + Arrow + J3? (f I did get an amp, it would most likely be the arrow, seeing how people are heaping loads of praise on its synergy...

Thanks! I tried renaming the foldername/filenames with a '_' in front and now the player reads them! Keep in mind that the album titles and title tracks in the mp3 tag were unaffected.

Does anyone know why Cowon J3 has trouble reading filenames starting with the ellipsis "..." ? For example, I loaded it with "...And Justice for All" by Metallica and though the files were clearly in the Cowon (using My Computer), it didn't detect the songs when I opened the player.

I just ordered the Shure SE535s (clear) for $380 from earphonesolutions after a good amount of pricematching and can't wait for them to come (either today or tomorrow)! This is coming from a guy who is upgrading from BOSE in-ears (first generation). Thanks for all the first impressions people!
