Anyone from the UK done this? I'm interested in having my TF10s done but I'm worried about high shipping costs to have them returned to me (Fisher Hearing are quoting $60) AND the possibility of getting hit by customs on the way back...

I found the W3s useless due to their stupendous sibilance.

Anyone noticed a slight harshness or maybe a touch of sibilance with the IE8s? Listening to TF10s with complys is the least sibilant combination I've ever heard so maybe I've been a little spoilt, but every so often I find myself thinking some things sound a little harsh with the senns...

This is pretty common for distance selling in the UK - especially with international credit cards.

On my TF10s the complys are great - the most comfortable of the lot and sounds perfect - tones the treble down just a tiny bit and increases the bass. On my IE8s the complys sound horrible - very murky and pushes the mids right back.

They are comfortable yes, but I find they muffle the sound too much. Vocals seem to become quite distant.

That's because the TF10s are, quite simply, brilliant!

I've heard them both - and for me the IE8s are miles better. I couldn't find a config where the W3s didn't sound sibilant and plasticky in its highs with a much to overpowering bass. I haven't fully made my mind up on the IE8s but they really are very good.

For those of you who are "wearing them straight down," are you also swapping the left and right pieces (TF10 flip-flop style)?

Anyone have any tips as to how to open the box for the IE8s? I don't particularly want to damage the packaging to make it easier to return them if I don't like what I hear!
