IEMs reshelled into Custom Molds $80 in the USA (TripleFi 10, SE530, etc.) from FISHER HEARING

Anyone from the UK done this? I'm interested in having my TF10s done but I'm worried about high shipping costs to have them returned to me (Fisher Hearing are quoting $60) AND the possibility of getting hit by customs on the way back...

Opinion wanted: Westone 3 vs UE Tri.Fi 10 Pro

I found the W3s useless due to their stupendous sibilance.

Bah I just can't make my mind up. I love the bass and the mids from the IE8. The comfort is an improvement over the TF10s, but I still can't wear them for as long as a cheap bud like the CX-300s. My main criticism is that I find the IE8s quite harsh - it's a mixture of some sibilance and...

    Sennheiser IE8 Impressions Thread

Anyone noticed a slight harshness or maybe a touch of sibilance with the IE8s? Listening to TF10s with complys is the least sibilant combination I've ever heard so maybe I've been a little spoilt, but every so often I find myself thinking some things sound a little harsh with the senns...

Purchase IEM: Is it normal so many request of documents?

This is pretty common for distance selling in the UK - especially with international credit cards.

Comply tips: Great fit but no Great sound?

On my TF10s the complys are great - the most comfortable of the lot and sounds perfect - tones the treble down just a tiny bit and increases the bass. On my IE8s the complys sound horrible - very murky and pushes the mids right back.

    IE8 + Compy T-400 wooot!

They are comfortable yes, but I find they muffle the sound too much. Vocals seem to become quite distant.

    My Westone 3 / Sennheiser IE8 dilemma

I've heard them both - and for me the IE8s are miles better. I couldn't find a config where the W3s didn't sound sibilant and plasticky in its highs with a much to overpowering bass. I haven't fully made my mind up on the IE8s but they really are very good.

For those of you who are "wearing them straight down," are you also swapping the left and right pieces (TF10 flip-flop style)?

The only way you're gonna be able to tell is trying themselves yourself. I'm really starting to like the IE8s that I've had for a couple of days now. But every time I go back to the TF10s I realize just how much I love their clean airy sound (I listen to a lot of rock and punk). Would it be a...

Right, so a few initial impressions. Right off bat the first thing I noticed was the mid-bass hump - it was quite overpowering and made everything seem very muddy. The next thing I noticed was the shrillness of the treble. Reminded me very much of the W3 treble which to my ears was very poor...
