    Klipsch's NEW line of Reference X IEMs (X6i, XR8i, X12i, X20i)

Honestly, I'd probably recommend the R6.    It's the best bang for your buck and the the difference in sound quality between R6 and something like the xR8i is negligible. Both the R6 and xR8i will be bass heavy though.

    Klipsch's NEW line of Reference X IEMs (X6i, XR8i, X12i, X20i)

So for anyone that's interested - I've had some hands on time with both the xR8i and the x20i and I wanted to post my thoughts. Let me preface and say that I'm no audiophile by any means, but I do appreciate really good sounding music. Music playback was tested through my 2014 macbook pro and...

    Klipsch's NEW line of Reference X IEMs (X6i, XR8i, X12i, X20i)

Decided to pickup the xr8i and overall I'm pretty impressed. I'd consider myself a pretty big bass head and these deliver without sounding too muddy. Though there is definitely some loss of clarity on the highs. I've also ordered the x20i to see if I prefer the sound signature, I'll writeup an...

    Klipsch r6? Help!

Just got my R6 replaced because the Klipsch logo text started fading after only a month of use. Kind of annoying...

I have two pairs of the same earphone....But they sound different?

I'm not sure if I'm going crazy here or not. But I recently tried out and briefly reviewed the Klipsch R6M. I ordered a second one with the intention of returning the first because the remote was acting funky on my original. So I open up this second one, without burning in, and it sounds...

Review by 'shadow82x' on item 'Klipsch R6m Black In Ear Headphone'

Just got a pair of the R6's and I'm actually quite impressed. But like every earphone I've tried it's not perfect. (klipsch x11, s4, senn ie800's, jbl synchros s200, akg k376)  As someone who plays percussion I have deep appreciation for detail & accuracy. I want a snare drum to sound like a...

Looking for the most comfortable, best sounding IEM without an amp

Hi all, I'm looking for an IEM that: - Has a large, accurate, and clear soundstage - Has a decent amount bass (I'm a bit of a basshead, no lies) - Goes directly in ear, I'm not a fan of the over-the-ear style - Is comfortable & lightweight    I do not plan on using these earphones with an...

New HTC One M8 audio review

I have both the iPhone 5s and the HTC One m8 and they really do sound quite different with my ie800's...Not too sure which ones I prefer but the iPhone does seem to have more clarity from what I can tell so far.

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

So today I'm returning back the Klipsch x11i. Can't say I was too impressed with the quality of the sound bat all. In fact I couldn't even tell much of a difference between the klipsch and my standard apple earpods. The difference between them was minimal. The ie800 however blew both of them...

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

Kind of an odd question..but are you able to put the SE846 directly in the ear like the ie800's? Or must you always wrap it around your ear?

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

I did look into them. Looks like there is some debate as to whats better the ie800's or shures se846. I could be wrong but they look pretty uncomfortable compared to the ie's. Plus I'd be paying $300 more for them, I don't see any discounted prices anywhere

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

I'm all down for further recommendations given my preferences stated in my OP. Like I said I got these IE800's for around $700 so I wasn't paying 1k for them. But the klipsch x11's just didn't cut it for me. (Despite liking the comfortable feel)

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

I don't have the budget to keep both unfortunately. But I did get both of them in the mail.    I didn't do any "burning in" of either earphones so my impressions are straight from out of the box. In terms of comfort both of them are really comfortable in my opinion and offer a decent, maybe a...

Quick question guys...do these earphones need to be "burned in" or will it be fine out of the box?

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

I ended up ordering both the IE800 and x11i. Ill be returning one that doesn't sound the best to me. I'll be sure to followup here too     The klipsch?

My source would be my macbook and iPhone yes :/

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

Hmm so you wouldn't recommend on ie800 on a weak source? Looks like you have some deals where you can get it for $600-700 and not the retail of 1000.

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

Honestly I don't have a powerful source. And don't plan on getting one soon. (I like detail and great sound but I'm not that extreme) I took a look at the JVC model...how would one go about buying that? Appears it's japan only and could pose an issue for warrenty?

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

Honestly I can't spend more than $1000, thats over my budget. Glad to here everyones opinion this far though. 2 votes for ie800

Any reason in particular why you suggest the ie800?

    Senn ie800 vs Klipsch x11i

So I'm considering 2 earphones, with quite a difference in price. I'm looking at the Sennheiser ie800 and the klipsch x11i. These seem to be the best, most portable and comfortable earphones suitable for me. I'm not into anything bulky or uncomfortable and prefer an earphone with a light/small...
