I recently received a new turntable (ATLP120) and I am looking for an amplifier that can drive stereo speakers and headphones. The turntable has a built in pre-amp but it can be bypassed. Budget is up to $500. Thanks.

Can anyone point me to the latest working driver for TASCAM US-144 (non MK2) for WIN7 ? The one I have is dated 3/2010 and produces very bad latency results.

This problem surfaced on a new DELL E6410 laptop, so I went on the DELL support site and updated all available drivers and flashed to the latest BIOS. The problem is now gone !!

I had the AUNE mini-usb dac working fine on win-XP desktop, and after upgrading to a new DELL latitude with docking station running WIN7, the device was detected by windows and a generic driver was installed successfully, but the audio sound is not clean and is accompanied by cracking noise...

Is it normal for the VALAB NOS DAC to overheat when turned on for a long period of time ?

Does anyone know if the VALAB so called "Luxury version" supports 24/192 input signals?

I really need to make a decision today as I have someone in Budapset who can buy the Canamp for me durectly from the factory. So for K271, what do you vote?  Canamp or M-stage ?   Hope someone bothers to respond.

I'm down to these two:  HEED canamp  and Matrix M-stage.  which one would better fit the K271 ?

I sent Coolfungadget a message on Ebay 3 days ago asking about the M-stage and received no response. Also it sort of bothers me that he has a "Banned" status in this forum. any idea why that is ?

How about just a pure headphone amp connected to TAPE-OUT of a Yamaha  HT receiver (or PRE-OUT) ?  would that work with the AKG K271 ? what would be a good choise in this configuration?

I wonder what would fit my AKG K271 MK2 better, the mini or the cube? the price is about the same on Ebay ?

There is also a MATRIX-mini on Ebay from the same seller Coolfungadget, who's been posing on this forum frequently.. Are these Matrix models a good choice to drive my AKG K271 ?

I was looking at either getting the K272HD or the K271 MK2, and went for the K271 due to it's reacher bundle. (2 pads and 2 detachable cables) I did notice the K271 is made in China vs the K272 in Austria. Is that an issue ? Also was planning to break them in for some hours, but the automute...
