Yep, the battery will be worth the extra cost for many. You can't go wrong with any CEntrance product. From a customer service standpoint, they are also top notch. A great alternative.

Glad you go it to work!  The Dacport HD is a little gem, for sure.

  I'm using a Dacport HD (Driver 7.9.6) with Amazon Music without problems.  Windows 10 Pro.  It works fine on foobar too.   The beta has specific uninstall / install instructions.  Basically, you have to uninstall the driver from the Windows Device Manager.  Give it a try.
