Question… Been contemplating adding a Caldera to the stable. I’m just worried about overlap with current phones. I have the AO, Atticus, Diana V2, LCD-4, HD800s, and Stellia currently. Would the CO be too similar to what I have?

As a new, first time owner of the AO I can attest mine will never leave. I have a modest system comparatively speaking, Audiobyte Vox/Zap to Cayin HA-6, but the AO just sing like none of my others… LCD-4, Abyss DV2, Senn 800s, and some older Beyer and Senns.

I can’t recommend the HA-6 enough with the AO!

I love my V2. I run them on medium gain on my HA-6a and have found that is the sweet spot. I run the ported suede. I believe if there is a gaps from the pad and driver they are ported. I’d have to locate my OG leather pads to confirm this though.

Speaking of 12au7… I just received some GE labeled Ken-Rad pewter plate, square getter 5814 that are sublime with the GEC KT66 and stock RCA 17ax
