I imagine if the matrix has the power to amp the k701's to reasonable levels I doubt it will have any troubles with anything else. I may be wrong but thats according to other reviews here on head-fi!!

So the only real way to power these cans is with a decent SS amp unless I want to break the bank...Thanks for the help!

Just received my new cans yesterday and only been listening to them for a day and these headphones are stunning! I love the soundstage that these things are producing and I am running them through very low end equipment (ipod mini to mini into total airhead lol) but am in the process of...

I was going to purchase the canamp but now my decision is siding with the matrix. It costs less and some reviews are saying that it sounds better aswell. Yay for savings!!
