My kid's AR turntable did not fare well in the move to LA. Can anyone recommend a reliable turntable repair shop? Your expertise and advice is appreciated!

I just purchased an I-River IMP 500 Slimx CD, MP3, WMA and ASF music file player. WHy? because my Sony D-25 died ( ) and I could not find anyone or any shop to repair it! The sound quality from the supplied senheiser ear buds is remarkable! Anyone else have I-River products?
