I can almost understand the loudness wars for pop music recordings - when everyone else songs getting radio airtime will be playing a few db's louder (not that that is an acceptable excuse)... But on a film soundtrack? Why do you need a 'hot' master for that?

I'm absolutely blown away by the sound from this amp - the ability to tweak the bass on some bass-lean recordings, without introducing other problems, is thoroughly commendable. Personally I'd like the knobs to be a bit shorter, but that's splitting hairs really. Well done ALO, well done.

Nothing more to add than what hasn't already been said - but I've been enjoying my Pico Slim for about 9 months and have loved every second of it - a perfect match for the JH-13s.

I'm currently awaiting a replacement LCD3 to be shipped (one driver stopped) - here's what I was advised: "Our new batch of LCD-3 headphones are being manufactured and tested with extreme caution. We will ship you new headphones as soon as we get them from quality control" It's not clear...

Just my luck, have just tried them - left driver isn't working! Have switched the L and R cable connectors - so that rules out the cable.   As you'd imagine, I'm not keen on paying return shipping on a D.O.A product! Have contacted Audeze - lets see how they go....   What the? Left them...
