Need M50 Alternatives <$300
Quote: Just ordered D2Ks off amazon for 300 exactly. Get them, seriously just get them, you will NOT be disappointed. I got the M50s as my first cans, except I used them exclusively for over a year, still love em. But d2k comfort is like immensely greater than m50s. soundstage is...- e2pathos

Denon D2000 Review (New). Aka Denon Dubstep-2000
Quote: Perhaps I am misusing the word sibilance, the sound was hard to describe, the initial bass on the same track as provided below (this is awful quality, couldn't find one with proper quality for some reason. I have the 320 album version which sounds perfect.) sounded initially...- e2pathos

Audio Technica M50s - Good to start with?
M50 is a great value, really durable, comfortable, great isolation, no leak. Sounds good with any genre and style. But looks like you've already decided. In case you change your mind, m50 is the best choice IMO.- e2pathos

Denon D2000 Review (New). Aka Denon Dubstep-2000
-Picture by me :P So my new Denon D2000s came in the mail yesterday, I rushed to the box and stabbed my car key through the tape and opened them as fast as I could. Tore that box open and plugged em into my iPod, as expected from other reviews, they sounded pretty good right out of the box...- e2pathos

Electronic Music Exchange (House, DnB, Dubstep, etc.)
Well I apologize for the attack as well, I did skip from page 1-100 cause I didn't wanna read 99 pages of stuff :P Hope we can be cool now I'm just kind of a dubstep elitist and since Cyberoptics is in my top 3 favorite artists, just under Liquid Stranger. And cybo uses FL, when I saw you... -
Electronic Music Exchange (House, DnB, Dubstep, etc.)
Hostile because it's people who like Skrillex and call it DubStep and say that Feed Me is a band (Somebody on first page I think) that are ruining the genre now-a-days. If you wanna get picky about grammar, it's capitalization not capitolization. I don't wanna start any fights I... -
Some really deep chill out tunes. (Lose your bad thoughts here :3)
Hey everybody, figured I'd share two tunes that have really been making me happy recently, sound fantastic in some nice speakers but even better in a deep sub bass set of cans =] Enigma Dubz - Between You & Me Galimatis - Leaving For Good Sit back, relax, and let your... -
Need help.. $150 headphones, closed set, good bass, good soundstage
Nah, soundstage on the M50 is fine, especially for this price range, bass is great, very balanced headphone but you will really enjoy them, definitely comfortable enough for the gym (I do it sometimes but prefer my IEMs.) Great for gaming like BF3 sounds really realistic, will really perform...- e2pathos

Denon D2000 bass?
I have had the M50s for a little over a year now and I absolutely love them and the sound that they produce, it really goes well for the wide variety of music in my library. I ordered the D2Ks a few days ago because everybody said the bass would be a lot heaver than the M50s but also...- e2pathos

ATH M50 headband size concerns
Yes they do go pretty large and may fit, but I agree with ^. My head is basically average and I listen to them comfortably for at least 2 hourson the smallest size though, I'm using them right now, I just set them to the biggest size and the bottom of each cup is on the middle of my neck...- e2pathos

Electronic related genre
For your price range, ATH-M50s, 'nuff said, tired of suggesting these all the time and having to type why, you'll love em for trance, dubstep, house, breaks, dnb, downtempo, instrumental, acoustic, you name it. Really really balanced headphone with a good soundstage for it's price, you can feel...- e2pathos

Orthodynamic Roundup
Quote: While I am aware that you can return within 30 days, I'm only losing 14 bucks on shipping which isn't a big deal (provided I even return them.) but then I don't get the try to D2000s either, and from all I've gathered it seems like I will definitely like the D2000s more, so...- e2pathos

Orthodynamic Roundup
Quote: Eh, I have had some other insight from a different thread leading me to the D2Ks, I'm too much of a bass head for what I see about the other HE-XXX cans, being stronger in the mids and not feeling the sub that much. Planning on getting these sometime in the distant future after...- e2pathos
