Just found a local deal on a 80GB 5.5G iPod classic, for a tad less than $100. It's a non passable deal? Or still are there any better options to consider? And also, unable to purchase another amp, how would the ipod sound through a LOD and a fiio e5?

As a runner-to-runner (rather than as an audiophile to another), I can say I'm pretty satisfied with the Sony MDRw08L. I run A LOT, and have to admit I am pretty scared to run with IEMs out in the street, still you want to know when a car is approaching...   These overhead ear buds sound OK...
