Just bought a used Pro 900 for $250 including shipping. Now i can't wait to hear them 

I used to power the K702 through my Zero DAC's headphones out and it did a decent job.  You can get it used for around 100, i even see it goes as low as 80 sometimes. You can use it as headphones amp for now and later as a stand alone DAC, mine still does a great job after almost 2 years

Thank you Pavel for organizing such great meet. I have learned alot about my own set up and others. the HE5&6 are awesome and the Stax are absolutely beautiful. Everyone is so friendly and nice, and thank you for help me out with my gears as well , hoping to see some photos soon 

Last minute question to anyone with gears using the TTC as transport, how do you pack up your gears (amp, dac, headphones) to bring to the meet?  This is my first meet so i'm pretty inexperience in this

I would suggest you put the Phiaton MS400 to the list as well. It's definitely my favorite on the go headphones right now. bass is punchy, vocal is crisp and clean. It also works great straight out of my itouch.  I listen to trance music and the phiaton make me do that  all the time on the subway . 

Just got my DV3322 today and i gotta say it syncs so well with the DT880, even more than my LD MKVII. Should have go for tubes in the first place :P

I would say you should include Phiaton MS400 as well. I just got a pair for Christmas and the bass is amazing, high and mid are very crisp and clean too. It folds up pretty nicely and the carrying case included is about the size of a CD holder, definitely get my vote for portability and quality...

Lol no problem!! I bought them from amazon japan, i believe it should be around $250 but since the Japanese yen skyrocketed, it cost me close to $350... goddamn currency exchange lol. Still, it's cheaper than AudiCubes tho . The HD650 really sounds like a pair i need to complete my collection...

Haha!! I understand what you mean. I remember after reading Skylab's review on the KH-K1000, i immediately set my eyes on it. The same with the DT880. If you live around my area, i would gladly let you audition for sure . I see you have a lot of good headphones on your profile, what do you think...

You can also try a little mod done by skikarl for your hd555 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvQ8PzBrHXE   I did that to my friend's hd555 and the bass does improve, sound stage also opens up a bit too, very easy to do mod.
