The JVC HA-S500 thread.
if they use Beats then they might not be in this forum :) btw i have friend that uses Beats. His first comment is "Wow, nice. But the bass is not as good as Beats. I can hear more vocal and treble but still less bass". Quote:- izaku

JVC HA-FXZ 100/200
Quote: Build quality is good. Looks more sturdy than TF10. Cable is less than 2mm thick, it has similar material like other JVCs (CK10 and HS500). Microphonics is minimum to none. Quote: It is JVC HA-FXZ100.- izaku

JVC HA-FXZ 100/200
woah!! First 5 minutes impression: it's huge. as big as TF10 but better fit than TF10. Soundstage is big. Bass is nice. Sound signature is warm to dark. but treble is still present. It reminds me at HD650 :)- izaku

The JVC HA-S500 thread.
After 2days listening to HD25-1 ii, what i can summarize HD25-1 ii is combination of M80 and S500. S500 is all forward. M80 is polite. HD25-1 ii is in between those. now thinking which one to keep. :) If i can keep only one, i will keep HD25-1 ii. it just likes M80 with more bass...- izaku

The JVC HA-S500 thread.
Quote: Having both VModa M80 and JVC HA-S500. What i can say M80 is considered neutral headset. imho, it is what song/music should be played. S500 is forward and loud. It is what people want to hear from the song/music :) I'll give impression on HD25-1 ii later. it is still on...- izaku

~$150 IEM's for EDM (Hifiman RE262, TF10, VSonic GR07)
imo, tf10 is a bit muddy. it will more take to burn in in your brain compare to GR07. Plus ZO sound signature is warm + more bass, it will make TF10 too much bass. I prefer GR07+ ZO then TF10 (with or without ZO). But different person might feel differently.- izaku

~$150 IEM's for EDM (Hifiman RE262, TF10, VSonic GR07)
i have 3 of them + ZO. if you have ZO, it will best go with GR07. it will make the bass more punchy. RE262 best if you have powerful amp. We still can play around with the tips to improve the isolation of GR07.- izaku

Living with the HiFiMan RE-262
Got it last month with new case similar to TS. It has 90% similarity sound signature with SM3. imho, the only difference is only the mid is just a bit laid back compare to SM3 and lesser bass. But it needs amp to bring all the sound. Great buy for USD$150. Less than half of SM3...- izaku
