My old ah d5000s are broken, sir of. The headband has come off of the ear cups. I have no idea if replacement parts exist, let alone how to go about it. Anyone have an info on this?

I've contacted them yeah, just waiting on a reply. I've treated these headphones extremely well, i have a headphone stand as well. I have used them for ~5 hours each day though, for the past year.

The part circled in red is what fell apart. Its a screw type thing that lets it pivot that broke.    

So my headphones broke and i need to know how to fix them, because this twist tie rig isnt working. Basically the left ear piece came off of the headband, more technically the screw to the bolt snapped. Is there any easy solutions to this? Or maybe the blueprints or whatever to them so i know...

yeah, you can't go wrong with this setup, i sit here and listen for hours upon end and am never dissapointed. The setup is fun too, i find my self headbanging all the time to metal (generally what i listen to).

Denon MD-5000's, Audio GD Dac-19, Audio GD C-2. Have a headphone stand being shipping to me soon.  

Received my C-2 today, had a Dac-19 sitting here for a while but finally get to use both. I'm not great at reviews so ill just leave it at "Superb" MD-5000's.  

Denon D2000's sound like they would fit almost all of these criteria They are very comfortable. Great bass. Closed. Easy to drive, low impedance. and finally under 250 new.

well i got them to fit, it just took a little bit of force. I made sure not to damage the inputs though. Was wierd though, the white input went right on but the red one was the one having troubles. Like the inputs weren't quite perfect.

Well of course I'm going to try it out for my self, but I just want to find other improvements that i may not have thought about. Thanks for the comments

Yeah I would have liked to get a glite but their hard to find now. I may just go with the GS-1, and see how you like the dacmagic. Also i saw that Meier has a deal for the Concerto + StageDac for 1260 shipped. Have to save up a little bit, but it may be my choice.

I think I've got my choices slimmed down fairly well now. 1. Audio GD Dac-19 + Roc (is the Roc ACSS compatible and does it pair well with denon's like the C2?) 2. Not sure on DAC for this + GS-1 3. Maybe a Meier Concerto + not sure on DAC Pretty much leaning towards the Audio GD...
