nope they didnt..i just bought a pair from jr in feb and they were defective so i sent them to monster and tehy sent me out a replacement and in the box it had the white super tips as long as a whole bag full f the gel filled super tips

i just got my brand new headphones from monster today after sending in my defective ones in February and low and behold they came with a pair of there new white super tips....

this honestly just happend to me with my Golds...i sent them back almost a month ago and moster still hasnt sent me out a new pair...they said it wouldnt be till midd to late april till i got my replacement

i like the coppers alot but i feel im the only person on these boards who prefers the golds over them

if u want a good alternative to the IE8 that doesnt veil the mids and highs as much get the MTP golds or Coppers....golds sound a big more warm with amazing bass and the coppers have a better soundstage with better mids and highs with a little less bass then the golds have

anyone use any hip hop for this? if so how is it?

the bass is decent if u have a good enough DAP....they are very clear and are also very neutral...they are an open back with jus 2 super tiny holes and are very comfortable...tho u should use an amp to push these

the Coppers or Golds or even the IE8 could do good for u...

hey average i do support the Golds as being a top tier....

monster turbine pro golds or the hippo vb...just that this vb is harsh sometimes in the highs

im fed up with monster now. i sent them my defective golds 9 days ago and have gotten no info about when i will be getting a new pair..they said it would be a few days and still nothing. i shipped them to another part of cali which takes roughly 1 day and still nothing.... there customer service...

i would think the IE8 should be in the top tier with the golds and copper...but also the S530 should be in top tier

no love for the MTPG?

cant really go by precent but they are way better across the board....u can always just wait till they go back on sale and pick them up for 200 like i did but they are worth it over the original turbines any day
